    Cloudy, windy and light rain today - better brighten up by next week. I plan to do some serious walking up and down the beach and don't want wet hair. Do have my glam rain hat though.

    Except, I've helped collect the olives in tee shirts (mid November, previous years) swum off Metallia beach on November 28th and had a sandwich and beer at Karnagio, sitting on the rails (now washed away) in a tee shirt and jeans on New Years day.

    Hello Derek. Mettalia Beach is just before Limenaria - it's often warmer in that area,( you can find a description on the 'About Thassos' pages) and Karnagio is the very last bar along the sea front in Limenas, past the town beach, through the boat yard and an Oasis of eclectic music , decent and good value drinks and bar snacks and big double sunbeds and and shades ( in summer of course),
