    YEEEEEPEEEE just booked with easy jet for august 2 weeks 60% (roughly) cheaper than thompson MAN-SKG.
    big difference in price. now car hire to sort out and hopfully i will be catching the 2:30pm ferry to thassos on 11th of august. just in time for panagias celebrations!!!!!!!!!!! SUMMER 2014 THE HEAT IS COMING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Looks like the weather front has brought snow to the mountains! What a lovely picture. It looks like the weather in the UK is warmer than Thassos at the moment. It makes a change. :-)

    I know the Island is very green but not that green

    Would love to see how many others are as addicted to the Golden Beach web as I am. The old site had a counter to show visitors and viewings and viewers. Is it possible to find something like that once again?

    Hi, Yes it was a seal on the beach. Panos from the Fedra posted pics of it on fb today. He said it was in a small accident with a boat but seemed ok after a rest then swam off.

    Wish that was me strolling along the edge of the water this afternoon, tho' it does seem a bit breezy and I see rain is forecast... Still, if it keeps our island green and a good water supply, let it rain in the Spring, but not in May please!!
