Hello!we are well into our second week of our fortnights holiday in Limenaria we are thoroughly enjoying everything from the sun - to the sea and certainly the food.We are staying at the Sunray which is absolutely lovely.Yesterday we took a trip to the Bluebay Hotel at goldenbeach to see the views that the webcam provide for us to look at every day throughout the year!We got to meet Anna and her family who showed us the beautiful view.It was lovely to see!!Thankyou to the Go Thassos team.

We have been traveling to Thassos since 1997 most years and we have always stayed in scala potamias or golden beach. we love the people and the food and never until now have we had a upset tummy. it has'nt put us off it was just unfortunate. we are returning in september and can'T wait :

We go to Thassos in two weeks time and it will be our second visit. Just discovered the webcam and it's WONDERFUL! Can just feel the heat already - here in Hove it is wet, dark and windy!

I voted vivs votes down because i believe the comments put on this site should be true to as it is people will visit warts and all I for one have been to greeks islands and have enjoyed my time spent on them and glad that the site published the post it shows that this site wants people to know the truth we would visit whatever people post because it is up to the individual traveller to find out first hand many thanks to the site be it face book like or any other type site its very infomative and a great web cam counting down till we visit yammas B-) B-)

Hi everyone. Visiting Thassos (Hotel Blue Bay) in September Last visited Thasos (same hotel)in 1994 - why it's taken so long to come back a mystery. Question for recent visitors - a number of people have said that credit cards aren't as widely accepted these days. Is this true?. Love the website and the webcam. Roll on September!

Visiting for 1st time in September. Are there kayaks for hire at Golden Beach. staying at Emerald apartments and have been trying to work out where they are on the webcam. Addicted to daily peeks via this site and reading all the comments.

Hi Thassos lovers! I'm looking for some help and advice. We are looking at staying at the Marina Studios next June and was just wondering if any of you have stayed there and can let me know what the noise from the pool bar is like in the evening. On some reviews I have read people say it is really bad, and others do not even mention it so any information would be great.
Also, we are looking at flying into Thessaloniki and hire a car to get us to Thassos. We do not really need the car for 14 days. Does anybody know if it is possible to hire a car from the airport, take it onto Thassos leave it there, and do the same home. That way we would only have the car for a max of 4 days instead of 14. Any help here would be great. I will obvioulsy need a car hire company that is based in Thessaloniki but with a office in Thassos, prefereably near Golden Beach. I'm sure somebody out there can give me some help and advice.

stay clear of the Marina if I were you, it is so noisy from the bar and the bikes in the night. The music is so loud , not a peaceful place to be. The staff in the bar are ok but nothing special, choose somewhere else!!

Hi Adrian To get to Marble beach from Golden beach you can go two ways. Walking, go uphill from the Vigli to the mountain track that runs at the back of the Blue Bay heading for Thassos town Keep going for a couple of hours and you will come to it before Makryammus !!!) Less exhausting by car to Thassos town, just after BP station as you are heading into Thassos town turn left for Makryammus. When you get to Gates at Hotel keep right and keep going and you will find Marble beach.

we have hired a card from thessaloniki for the last 10 years and driven to thassos we keep the car for the whole 2 weeks and drive back as it is the same price. we always use economy car rentals to book and their people in greece are autounion we have always got a good price. try and see as you can put in different drop off locations and check each price.

Is there a 12 step recovery programme for thassos webcam addiction? It started with just the occasional look some eevenings. Now am getting up in the morning and immediately turning on laptop. Have found myself having a crafty peep at work. Family beginning to notice. HELP!!!!

My name is Joanna, I'm 22, I'm from Poland, and I am absolutely in love with Thassos! I've been there 4 times in my life and it always was an unforgettable holiday! I've always stayed at Camping Golden Beach and I just can't imagine a more perfect place! I lived in those so called "villa tents" and for me it was way better than any 5 star air conditioned hotel! No worries about your appearance, all the time in the open air, I mean seriously - 24/7 chill out B-) ! What's more, the camping is situated just next to the beach! You go through the gate, you do a hundred steps and you stand in the sea . The beach itself is just gorgeous: deligthful golden sand and crystal clear, warm water. There are also great conditions for snorkling and diving. I personally recommend a little bay which is situated just next to a little harbour on the left side of the Golden Beach bay. I don't know whether it has a name, but I call it the marble bay becuse of the big marble blocks which are scattered there. It's just a perfect place to watch the underwater flora and fauna . So if somebody wants a wonderful holiday - take a bunch of your best friends and go to Thassos at Golden Beach! If it's about me, I cannot wait until I go there again!
