    Hi Mike,

    The internet speed at the webcam's location is what determines the "smoothness/jerkiness" of the Live Video.

    Slower speed = jerkier live video
    Faster speed = smoother live video

    (internet speed naturally fluctuates)

    The wonderful owners of Hotel Blue Bay have done everything they could to provide us with the fastest and most stable connection available on the island. It may not be perfect but it is the best Thassos has at the moment. :)

    Well done you guys on the new and glitzy webcam! Fabulous pics. It makes it even harder to bear since we won't be able to be there this year, how we will manage a whole year without our Thassos fix is yet to be seen!!

    only 3 weeks until our trip to golden beach, can't wait. Hope the weather is as good as previous years.

    Does anybody know what the small island is in the sea near golden beach and what the building is that is on it? I'm really curious about it

    The island's name is Krambousa and the little building on top is a small church.
