    hi every one in golden beach , again like every year will be taking a short break with my partner , visiting my lovely friends i have made over the past 25 years , i used to plan my visit by doing the trip getting my flights from thomson and arranging my accomadation direct , but the cost of taxi's as made myself reflect on the very good prices from thomson for the very first time , as only thomsons fly from the uk , i shall be arriving on 13 may so watch this space , enjoy ,

    I know it is dark but a lot of flickering lights from one building I am just hoping it isnt a fire.

    We have enjoyed watching this video all through the winter - the fabulous Greek music transports you back to your favourite holiday island - it so makes you want to be there!

    Can't wait to get on that ferry in a few weeks time, wind in my hair catching the first glimpse of Thassos!

    The video about Thasos is very beautyfull. It remember me at our 5 holydays on the wonderful island with my husband. We were all the times at Skala Potamia and go by car around the Island. It`s very nice to eat under a big tree in the port of Limenas and look at the sundown!
    I hope we can go back in a new holiday this summer!

    We enjoyed your video thank you Viv and Chris!It brought back lovely memories of a beautiful island!We're coming to stay in Limenaria for the 8th time in 8 weeks and are definitely going to come and visit Golden Beach.Steve and I can't wait!!! ) :):):):)

    Hi to the brilliant Go Thassos team. Is there any news on when the webcam will be able to show different parts of Golden Beach and Skala Potamia? We are still loving the scenes that we can see now. Can't wait to August to be there!

    Hi Toni,

    Thanks for asking that question!

    We're waiting on Earthcam to provide us with a replacement of the camera's base, which will allow automatic movement as our previous webcam. It seems they've been having problems with the model they sent us last year. We can move the camera around to show different views but automated movements are not possible until the system is replaced. We've been in contact with Earthcam about this issue since last July (immediately after we noticed the problem) and have been waiting since then. It is a priority for us to get it working again, just there's no way to know exactly when it will happen. Perhaps if enough people write to Earthcam and request them to move faster, we may get the replacement sooner! ;)

    You could write to Earthcam by going to this page and filling out the form. Perhaps if they get enough inquiries regarding the replacement for the Thassos webcam we will get it sooner rather than later!

    THIS IS BRILLIANT!!! Thank you for installing the webcam!! Although I currently live in UK it feels like I am in my house, which is not far from where you installed the webcam.

    Every now and then, I watch your webcam and I feel like sitting on my balcony. Rendez-vous on July!!!
