At the moment there is no place to hire a mobility scooter as far as I am aware. I contacted the most likely people (owners of bike/motorcycle/ATV rentals) and they told me they do not because they've never been asked for a mobility scooter before, but they will look into it now that we're asking. They told me they would get back to me if they decide to offer mobility scooters for hire next summer so I will let you know as soon as they do.
While we wait, I just want to share with you a mobility scooter you can travel with. I considered getting one for my father who has mobility issues but he's happy with his 2-seater so I don't have personal experience with it. A friend of mine who owns one only had the best things to say about it. Link below:
