Hi all, not been on for ages. Just reading about the fires and heat in Europe and just wanted to see if everyone is safe on what is my favourite island

Much has been done on Thassos in preparation for the fire season. New fire breaks have been created in many mountainous regions over the last 6 months to help contain any possible fires. I also hear planes constantly flying overhead, every day, scouting for smoke as a precaution.
That’s really good to hear, i would to see you all go through what happened a few years back.
