Anyone got any solutions to deterring wasps? I seem to attract them. Moved sunbeds twice and they just followed. Only time I was free of them was when I went into the sea.
1) Buy a small bag of Greek coffee from any supermarket
2) Place 2 heaping table spoons in a small metallic/ceramic bowl or plate (preferably lined with a layer of aluminum foil)
3) Light a small surface area of the coffee on fire so that it produces smoke (not too little, not too much)
You only need to light a very small amount on fire. Then it will slowly spread and burn until it's all gone.
The smoke helps keep the wasps away, especially useful while you are eating meat or fish outdoors. The scent of meat and fish is what attracts wasps. Greek coffee deters them.
