Using Cash Passport around Thassos

Hi, we are spending 10 days on the island and are planning on using the new cash passport to pay for things instead of a credit card. Do lots of places accept them? Many thanks, Emma

as you haven't had a reply yet, I have only used them in the Atm's but always use a Greek bank Atm otherwise you could incur charges from some of the others. On the question of cards in restaurants some didn't have machines but I understand / read somewhere, there is a new law that restaurants will have to have a pay machine this August, so things could be different now.
Sorry can't help more
If your cash passport works as any VISA or MASTERCARD does, then I suspect anyone with a card machine could accept it.
Some shops and restaurants don't have a machine but as Delboy said, this is changing. It's becoming a requirement for all businesses in Greece to have one.
