from kavala to thasos

we will be at kavala at morning (04.07.2015), how can we go limenaria / thasos without car, by keramoti ferry. is there bus or shuttle. how much it costs. or would taxi be very expensive from kavala to keramoti??

Hi Ruzgarjr,

Starting from the city Kavala, it will be better for you to take the ferry direct from Kavala to Skala Prinos.

When you arrive to Skala Prinos, there will be two buses parked and waiting in front of the ferry port. One of them will go to Limenaria. It's that simple!

Ferry: 5 EUR per person
Bus: 2.80 EUR per person

Starting from the airport of Kavala, it will be better for you to take a taxi to Keramoti (there is no bus or shuttle). Take the ferry from Keramoti to Limenas.

When you arrive to Limenas, walk across the street to the bus station and catch the bus to Limenaria.

Taxi: 20 EUR
Ferry: 3 or 3.50 EUR per person (depends on the ferry you take)
Bus: 4.50 EUR per person
