I just wanted to share some good news with you, especially for those with disabilities who use a wheelchair.
It has been announced that four of the island’s beautiful beaches will be equipped with facilities to help our wheel-chair bound visitors enjoy them even more. Yay (about time)!
- Limanaki Beach in Limenas
- Golden Coast Beach in Skala Potamia
- Trypiti Beach near Limenaria
- Skala Prinos Beach
Facilities will include:
- An autonomous sea access device
- Lockers for storing possessions
- Porta potty designed for the disabled
- Shading and parking spaces
In Skala Potamia, there will also be a guidance system for people with visual impairments.
