Hello, I’m arriving in Thassos next week and was thinking about getting a taxi from Skala Prinos to Skala Potamia (where I’ll be staying). Does anyone have an idea of the approximate cost please?

How are you getting to Skala Prinos? It’s much shorter from Kavala Airport to Keramoti, and from there you can take the ferry to Limenas. From Limenas, it’s only a short distance to Skala Potamia. (What’s more, the ferries from Keramoti run much more frequently.)

I agree with Zav if you’re flying to Kavala’s airport. Don’t go to Kavala, go straight to Keramoti and catch a ferry from there. It will save you time and money.
I spoke with a local taxi driver and he told me it’s 40 EUR from Skala Prinos to Skala Potamia. I can give you his number if you’d like, just let me know!
