The Golden Beach area (Skala Panagias and Skala Potamias) is facing a major problem with standing water following the heavy and persistent rainfall during the winter of 2025/2026. I don’t know how the authorities will deal with it. One thing is certain: there’ll be a hell of a lot of mosquitoes this year.
