Our first trip to Thassos starts on Sunday … if it’s half of what people say it is we’re going to love it :slightly_smiling_face:

The internet on Thassos was down yesterday from 10:30am ish until late-night.

No problems with the webcam, just with OTE… :wink:

Was at Golden Beach for 2 weeks from the 7th September, we have been going for the past 14 years, and I can only say it gets better and better!! Our first week was VERY hot, but our second started getting cold, cloudy and windy. Looking at the webcam though, I really wish I was still there instead of sitting at my desk with a mountain of paperwork. Cant wait for next September see you on the beach from the 6th September 2009!!

:frowning: Haven’t been there for 22 23 yrs but it was great! remember watching the fires burning in kavala. I was in the army with some guys from there I wonder if they remember me?? O KANADOS SINDOS DRAMA???

Oh, No! Clouds, grey skies, brollies down and sun beds all empty - can’t be the end of summer yet! We’ll be back for half term, mid October, and hope at least for sunshine to have our mid-day ouzo/meze in ! Great job - keeps us sane - there is another life out there.

Hey Seabass, take your time getting back to Thassos as the sun is back and it must definitely be because you left. I’m not in a hurry for you to bring the bad weather back with you so take your time. LOL

Hello everyone!

I am interested in buying a house/apartment on the island. I’ve been there three times already and I like the place, peace, quiet, sea, beach, sand, and it would be a perfect place for vacations all round the year, coming with friends or even planting some fruit-trees.
I am not Greek but I would be happy to know I could buy a small house/apartment here.

Thassos is great! Greek people are great! I’m still dreaming of the week I spent in Limenas at the beginning of September. Web cam helps me remembering…

Wow… the memories… this year I’ve been twice in Thassos… and I’d go again. It was wonderful, and I felt so relaxed, at ease and conforted like in no other holiday destination. This island is cosy like home. :slightly_smiling_face:
