Here is my series of films (12 of them, around o’clock), made especially for those who want to enjoy driving around Thassos in all seasons of the year, not only while there. Also, you can get crucial info along the way, where possible.
Film is made within two days in year 2011. so maybe there is some changes in environment and objects today, but not anything crucial, I presume.
I’m sorry folks… but the landmarks, crossroads and other notations on films are given only in Greek and Serbian languages, due to circumstances in that moment. Also, there is a few local pranks on films, but don’t be hard on me. I did this solely for my entertaintment and joy, which I want to finally share with you all, Thassos lovers.
=====
I’ll try to give you some useful info in English language in comments, along the way.
Thanks to Augie and GO THASSOS agency, which helped me with precise info! Cheers, friends!

Тhrough narrow streets of Panagia downhill to Skala Potamias. About 6 km.

Great stuff. We hope to hire quads for exploring the island so will take a look at your driving videos for an idea of the typse of roads we’ll encounter.
Heh, this is the main road only. I have few videos of other roads, and I’ll UL them in the other my thread here.
Yep, quads are there, and they are very good vehicle for exploring. Classic cars can’t bring you to the hills and hidden beaches, or they can… but you are risking a lot! Jeeps are too expensive to hire.
From Cape Babouras to the Monastery of St. Arch. Michael. About 10 km.
Scenery is now completely different from the North of Thassos, more expected from Greece. But, this is not without reason. South is naturally more arid, winds are different and there was big forestfires several years ago…

3:33 - (What’s hanging over the road?)
4:00 - Aliki
5:21 - Kekes beach

5:59 - Thymonia beach
7:45 - Monastery of St. Arch. Michael
