Hi!
I’ve heard a reliable rumour that Jet 2 have bought all thomas cook flight slots and are looking at flying to kavala. Just wondered if you had heard anything to back this up?

Also I’m very happy to report that I will be returning to my favourite island in September :grinning_face:

Hi Leanne! :slightly_smiling_face:

Woohoo! Your favorite island will be waiting for you!

The rumor sounds like an amazing development! I haven’t heard anything about it so I can’t back it up at the moment. If I hear anything I’ll certainly let you know here!

Who’s this reliable source?

Here’s the link - BBC news. We’ll see how it develops…

Buying doesn’t necessarily mean that they’ll operate them all. It will depend on the economic forecast for each destination, also what resources each company has available at those times..
Keep a close eye…

Thanks for the links, frenchie!

I’ll be on the lookout for new developments in this space. I’ll also be crossing my fingers very tightly :slightly_smiling_face:

Have also heard about jet2, spoke to their main office on an unrelated item mentioned Thassos and was told watch this space.

Hi! So i heard this from someone who works at Jet2 so hopefully news will be heard soon.
Would be great if easy jet do take up kavala as that would make it easier to book independently giving other hotels some business.

Augie 40 weeks and counting lol
