Hey all 🙂

I just wanted to share some good news with you, especially for those with disabilities who use a wheelchair.

It has been announced that four of the island’s beautiful beaches will be equipped with facilities to help our wheel-chair bound visitors enjoy them even more. Yay (about time)!

1. [Limanaki Beach in Limenas](https://www.go-thassos.gr/about-thassos/places/limanaki-beach)
2. [Golden Coast Beach in Skala Potamia](https://www.go-thassos.gr/about-thassos/places/golden-coast-beach)
3. [Trypiti Beach near Limenaria](https://www.go-thassos.gr/about-thassos/places/trypiti-beach)
4. [Skala Prinos Beach](https://www.go-thassos.gr/about-thassos/places/skala-prinos-beach)

Facilities will include:

1. An autonomous sea access device
2. Lockers for storing possessions
3. Porta potty designed for the disabled
4. Shading and parking spaces

In Skala Potamia, there will also be a guidance system for people with visual impairments.
