Can anyone tell me where and when any “May Day Celebrations” will he held in 2012? We were lucky to see the children and locals dressed in their finest a few years ago. We were just passing through the village of Panagia on the way back from Thassos Town and would love to see and be a part of the celebrations once again - it was truly magical watching the parade winding through the old cobbled streets - very akin to the wedding parade scene in Shirley Valentine!
