does anyone know the exchange rate for the euros in thassos
it would be helpful to us for when we come on 3rd aug.
cant wait to be there on golden beach.

Hi There only 64 days until we return!! With the current political issues in the country is anyone able to tell me how this has effect food/living/services prices on the island? I am trying to plan a budget as I am self catering,also how much is it to eat out…we dined at the Green Sea quite a bit but also in Scala Potamias! Thanks

Hello,
Back with some suggestions on webcam, namely as I said it would be replacing it with a full HD webcam.
You might want to change the viewing angle of the webcam, to be clear, broad, with a more defined zoom on the beach, the pier, the entire course of 4-5 km from the Panagia Potamia, including Mount Ipsarion.

Thassos is my first love and that’s why I want a full HD webcam to show the world the beauty of the island’s clear.

hey Toni, the banks charge usually 2% commission on exchange rate. Thassos is like my home, miss the island, friends there…!!!

Can anyone help me first time to thassos thinking of staying at plaza socrates in skala prinou have the studios a seaview and is there a hairdryer in the room any more information about the area would be welcome two sprightly 70year olds

the place you r going to stay is beautiful next to the sea only 5 minutes walking.

you will need to take the local bus to move around if you want to see more which is running every 2 hours or less. as regards about hair dryers no chance in any hotel unless is 5 star, like Ilion Mare which is again a 5 minutes walk. Also i recommend to have a walk through the little forest of prinos its very nice or to take the ferry across to kavala where you can go for shopping for the day. i wish you a lovely holiday!!!
