what’s happened to the sweep ?
Thank you for the heads up! It must’ve lost the setting following the long power outage yesterday. We reset the webcam so the sweep is back now

Thank you for resetting the camera. The view of Golden Beach is a daily task. (All year long) Unfortunately there are still - today exactly 100 days - until we can enjoy the beach service of Anastasia Studios.

are the fires out now?
Yes, nearly!
The fire started at 11PM in the Glikadi area last night and quickly climbed up the steep, mountainous terrain, which was difficult for firetrucks to reach. At dawn, helicopters and planes joined the fight and successfully brought it under control. It’s contained now, and the ring road has already been reopened. We were very fortunate that the wind calmed down today; otherwise, it could have gotten much worse.
PS. You would have had a direct view from your favorite balcony at Apartment Serendipity.
glad to hear it is over. I’d rather not see it from anywhere !!!

I don’t believe so but it depends on where you go. Like last year, some charge while others provide sunbeds for free with the purchase of food and drink.

earlier in the season Green Sea taverna had no charges but we always had lunch there and a bottle or two of retsina !!!
