Should have been out on your beautiful Island back in June, fingers crossed weâll be able to come next year. So miss our stay at the lovely Island View Villa where we meet with several other couples, English and German. Canât wait to be greeted by our lovely hosts Niki and Anna. We are meant to be going to Florida in 6 weeks,it hasnât been cancelled yet,but we think it will.
So my question is are we allowed to come to Thassos from the UK without self isolating also will there be enough restaurants etc for us for a 10 night stay,proberly staying in Thassos town.
Also we would fly into Thessaloniki and drive to Thassos,

If you stay in Limenas (Thassos Town) then you will have enough restaurants open to enjoy locally. Other beach resorts may not be open as much depending on when you come.
You wonât be required to self-isolate unless you get randomly selected for testing upon your arrival at the airport in Thessaloniki. A very small percentage of travellers get a mandatory test upon their arrival. They are required to self-isolate for the first day pending the result. If youâre selected and tested, you would continue your journey to Thassos but once you reach your accommodation youâd be requested to stay put for 24 hours. If your test returns positive, then the authorities will inform you and move you to a quarantine hotel, free of charge. If your test comes back negative, you wonât hear back from them and youâll be able to move around as you please.
Lots of people made the trip (UK to Thassos via Thessaloniki) and Iâve only heard positive feedback so far!

Hi Augie, we are hoping to come around the 10th October,for 10 nights.
It may be a last minute thing as we need virgin to cancel our Florida trip first.

Been watching the webcam all through the season Golden Beach is my favourite place ever
This is the first year for 10 years have not been for holiday, hopefully will be back early next year, hope the restaurants hotels are all able to survive these times

The vibration you see when the camera is zoomed in, I believe, is because of the wind⌠so on windy days you can expect more vibration and on still days, less.
Iâve visited Villa Island View many times but I never stayed there as a guest because I live on Thassos⌠so I canât give you a guest review but I can tell you how most people I see there are regular customers and they keep returning every year.
