From Thessaloniki to Thasos for 3 days

Hello! Me and my friends are erasmus students from Aristotle University and we want to travel to Thasos from 7 to 10th of June. Can you please recommend how to get there, where to buy tickets for bus and especially ferry and if we can have any student discount? Also if you have any budget friendly recommendations on hotels/guest houses for 5 people. Thank you in advance!

To get to Thassos, you’ll need to take a bus from Thessaloniki to Kavala. Once you arrive in Kavala, the ferry port is about a 10-minute walk from the bus station.
Alternatively, you can take a bus from Kavala to Chrysoupoli, and then another from Chrysoupoli to Keramoti. From Keramoti, there is a second ferry port that will take you to Limenas.
Here’s the link to the ferry schedule from Kavala to Skala Prinos and from Keramoti to Limenas :

Note: The schedule will be updated on June 1st.
Also depending on where you would like to stay here is the Bus schedule:

If you have a university ID, be sure to bring it—you may be eligible for a student discount at the bus station and for the ferry.
