How late in the evening can you arrive on Thassos?

Hello, We would love to have a week in Thassos this summer, but the flight we need to get would not arrive in Thessaloniki until 9.30 in the evening (Thursday 16th August). Will we need to stay one night in Thessaloniki and then set off for Thassos on Friday morning, or would it be possible to get to Thassos on Thursday night? If anyone has any suggestions or reccomendations, I'd love to hear them, thank you. Ali

Since you will arrive at 21:30, it will take about 30 minutes for you to collect your luggage and get out of the airport, so expect to be out of the airport at around 22:00.
23:00 was the time of the last ferry from Keramoti to Thassos in 2017 and maybe it'll be the same in 2018. We'll know for sure when the summer schedule is released in May.
An experienced taxi driver of this route (like these guys and gals) can get you from the airport to Keramoti in about 2 hours. So there isn't enough time to catch the last ferry.
Therefore your best option is to do what you wrote above and spend one night in Thessaloniki.
An alternative to staying in Thessaloniki (if you're anxious to get to paradise and not lose any time) is to take a taxi to Keramoti and stay there overnight instead of Thessaloniki. Then you can wake up and hop on the ferry to Thassos without delay!
